BPI Building Analyst + Envelope Professional

Qualify to become a BPI Accredited contractor and maximize your energy audit or energy retrofit business potential! Our intensive BPI BA/ENV combo course combines our popular BPI Building Analyst training with our advanced BPI Envelope Professional training into a concise week-long program.

Course Overview:

This intense boot camp combines BPI Building Analyst and BPI Envelope Professional training into one course and prepares students for both examinations.

The BPI Building Analyst portion provides individuals with the knowledge necessary to provide homeowners with an overview of energy consumption and suggest options to save money through conservation.

In the BPI Envelope Professional portion, students will learn the house-as-a-system concept, fundamentals of building science, systems within a home, common thermal envelope and pressure boundary problems and solutions, how to conduct a home performance inspection, and make recommendations for repairs based on BPI Technical Standards. This combination course will qualify you to become a certified home energy auditor with the ability to diagnose energy efficiency issues in the home, as well as understand problems relating to the home's envelope, such as moisture, ice dams, mildew, and drafts.
